Learning Starts Early
Our Early Learning Center offers programming for students from 2 years of age through VPK. Our program offers a well-structured, exciting, and fun approach to education for our youngest students.
This age group is adapting and changing at a fast pace to the world around them and we are intentional about caring for them in a holistic way. Our goal is to focus on key areas of development that support growth spiritually, physically, mentally, and academically.
Areas of Development
Children are engaged in developmentally age-appropriate learning. Our curriculum focuses on core areas such as Literacy, Math, Science, Language Arts, Music, and Art. Students also participate in group discussion and hands-on projects as well as indoor and outdoor activities. Here are some additional focas areas:
Social / Emotional Skills
This is our ability to recognize, understand, manage, and use emotions effectively in ourselves and others.
Cognitive Skills
These are mental abilities that enable us to process information, think, learn, remember, reason, and solve problems.
Play Approach
This method engages children in playful activities that are designed to promote their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development making learning enjoyable and natural.
Fine / Gross Motor Skills
This skills involve the use of small muscles for precise movements like writing, as well as large muscles for things like running and jumping.
Sensory Learning
This is how we gather information using senses such as sight, smell, hearing, touch, and taste to understand the world around us.
Spiritual Development
We want to create an environment where every child can grow in their understanding of who God is and learn more about the life that God has for them.

Bell Shoals Academy Early Learning Center is licensed through the ACSI Florida Approval Program. I.D#9072 and is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International.
